Baclaran Elementary School II has its humble beginning as an annex of Baclaran Elementary School Central. It was housed in a rented 8 room 2 storey building on the corner of J. Correa. On January 1961, it became an independent school and was named Baclaran Elementary School II as a primary school but flourished as a complete elementary school in 1965. School administrators took turns. Due to the demand of high school building, Baclaran Elementary School III was again merged with Baclaran Elementary School II. Our Home Economics building became an extension of Municipal High School. After so many changes, it was in 1973 under the leadership of Mrs. Carmelita Sabino that Filipino-Chinese Building was replaced by Golez Building and became the permanent house of BES II populace.

Harmonious relationship and close partnership with GPTA, Barangay and NGOs were evident during her two-year stay that created fruitful years of service in her administration. Teacher holistic training became part of her goal through highlighting mental, physical and spiritual wellness. During those years, with regards to facilities, she was able to make classroom repairs, fix water distribution problem in the canteen; and was able to have another school building last 2013 with the help of former Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez, now the Mayor of the City Government of Paranaque. She showed pupils to take concern and action in dealing with environmental issues through utilization of built storages for plastic recyclables that were placed near the school buildings for easier access and made a simple greenhouse on a vacant area in between the new school building and the kinder room.

Pupils were also allowed to enter clubs to learn and improve their talents and leadership skills.
She also supported educational technology by providing an ICT room with internet connection where teachers and pupils can enrich and empower themselves with the use of technology aligned with the innovations and updates of the DepEd and the Division.
In terms of structural changes, a school building and a gym were built. The new school building is currently used for additional classrooms while the gym is now a venue for the school’s different programs. The Olivarez Building is now being upgraded and soon, two more school buildings would be opened for pupils to occupy which would give favorable ground to again implement the one-shift schedule for the pupils.
